FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Weeeelll...the first day truly wasn't bad. It was good, actually, in the grand scheme of things. I got there SUPER early so I could unload some stuff into my locker, talk to my counselor and meet Emily at her locker. We went to talk to Mr. Ball, a multi-language teacher about taking our AP Spanish test. He said we were schedualed for after shcool, come with our work.
The whole day I was freaking out about this, SO nervous. But since I was signed up for that class I went to it second hour and he said that his Spanish 4 class had 38 people in it and he might move some of them to AP, so that made me way less nervous.
I am in the big band this year and I got really nervous about that. I suddenly realized I hadn't even thought about band or touched my oboe...in my long list of goals band has been at the bottom for a while. Working on how to fix that...
Chemistry sounds hard but I'll live. Algebra II is math so...it basically makes me die inside every day. And then AP Language seemed great at first, good teacher, tons of nice smart kids that I knew and then suddenly! out of nowhere, she throws like four homework assignments at us due the next day. ICK!
After school I met with Emily and we headed to Mr. Reese's room instead of Mr. Ball's because we were stalling from taking the test. We talked to Mr. Reese, told him about summer and listened to his stories, then went to Mr. Ball's room and found we don't have to take the test anymore!! Huge relief but wasted day of nervousness.
We did sprints in swimming even though I was a half an hour late and managed to get a 1:05 on my 100 yard freestyle, not bad for my first time back.
Then I came home (in the beautiful sunlight, might I add) and am doing homework. The sun is so rude sometimes. Ugh. Sooo...I am optimistic for this year, pretty much. Hard classes but good people and I am ready for action!

No more Summer...

Sooo...yeah. This is my last day of Summer. Ever. No, just kidding, but that's what it feels like. School is too hard. That's what I have to say.
I wish it was sunny, but of course it has to wait until tomorrow to be sunny while I sit in school all day. Ladeeda.
I just cleaned the bathtub. ...I really don't have anything to say. Again. These weird people keep calling me and I want them to stop. Uuuurrrg.

Well this has got be at the top of all weekend(week even) of my life. It was amazing. First it was K's sweet sixteen, which was amazing! Then on Friday the 13th went to a Hawk Nelson concert with Aurora and I saw Emily thier and she decided to hang out with us thier. It was amazing He was *this* cloce to me. We were like rubbing shoulders litterally. In the picture is Aurora, she was the only one with a camera.(Smart Sarah!:P) It was AMAZING!!!! That night I spend at my grandma and grandpa's house and in hte morning we went shoping. The only proper way to go shoping is on Saturday mornings at garage sales, so we went! And guess what I found?!?! (I always find something star Trek or Bealtes but yesterday I hit the jackpot). It was the first Garae sale we stopped at and I found........ TWO seasons of Star Trek original!!!!! Seasons 2 and 3. Oh eBay season two used costs (at cheapests) 38.99 plus shiping and handling. I got TWO for less then that! So cool! but that was not by anything the only thing that happened that day. That evening i went back to my Grandparent house for a Hawaiian party to wash away all this glommy weather and guess what all the kids found out???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

WE'RE GOING TO HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weeelll...

So. It has been quite a while since I posted.
It looks like we will continue the blog through another winter though, so that's fun :) I won't post everything I've done because it would take up pages and pages, and I will remember that anyway.
I start school very soon, me and M, and I am very depressed about it. It's been raining for a month straight here in Anchorage and I just know that the day school starts it will be gorgeous outside.
Well, besides the rain I went hiking today, but without my friends. So once it clears up I hope we can go up Flattop or up to Reed Lakes or something.
The only reason I'm a little excited about school is because I'm a Junior now (ah!) and I have some new school clothes, not something I usually do, and I just got a new laptop!!! YAY! I am super excited. M bought me a wireless mouse for it for my birthday. :)
Well. I'm just posting for the sake of posting, I really have nothing interesting to day. So yeah. Seeeee ya later!

We Are Pact

So yesterday MASK decided to make a "pact". It's not actually a pact, but that's kinda the idea. We all thought of stuff that we want to do during the school year, like getting in shape, reading more, reading the Bible more, having good grades, writing on the blog more, and practicing or learning various instruments. The idea is that we'll keep tabs on and encourage each other. K and I are looking forward to getting our license, which is also on the pact, and S wants to learn more about cars and stuff like that. That's not everything, but that's ok. So yeah! We now have a pact! Cool!
