Today was my profession of faith. If you don't know what profession of faith is, it's basically standing up in front of the congregation and answering questions. It's kinda like a baptism for people who have been baptised when their infants. Well, today I had mine. I can't exactly remember what happened. I remember having sweaty hands all throughout the service and how the sermon was so appropriate for what I was about to do. I remember feeling my heart excellerate when I heard my name and blindly going up front. Pastor Dave asked me to tell the congregation how I had come to the point where I was. I started with this phrase, "I remember hearing a service on the Sunday before my 15th birthday..." I flubbed. I just felt so shaky and I could help but cry because of this great thing I was about to share with the church. "DVB was preaching a sermon on the Last Supper and a passage just popped out to me. It was Mark 14:12." I forgot the verse and asked for a Bible. I read it. I cried. Then I explained what it ment to me and that three words made me realize what I had to do. I must be uncustomary. (After the service, Pastor Dave made some pun on uncustoMARY) So that is my mission. I what to be uncustomary. So yeah, basically this day has been really busy and emotional for me, seeing as I was nervous for the profession of faith, overwhelmed with joy during it, extremely nervous for a duet recital afterwards, and totally exausted after practicing a song for choir. I'm going to go eat and take a nap. See ya!
