+1 life expirence

Well, hello all!
Duess what?? I finally have something to talk about on here!! Isn’t this exciting?!? Haha Just kidding!!! I’ll let someone else tell the Phantom story, for I truly do have another to tell.
Anyways… as the title says, I feel I have done something slightly risky and have had a totally knew experience. Thus, +1 for life experience in S’s world. ;D As you all probably know, today I had that all day drivers coarse classroom portion thing, starting at 8:30 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon, lunch NOT included. This, being my first real foray into the complete unknown, not expecting to know anybody was very intimidating and I felt vulnerable, but yet, confidant. Well, thankfully Keelie was there, so we talked when we could, but we were not able to sit with each other. This gave me the opportunity to sit between two people that I did not know all. A guy and a girl, both around my age.
During the course of the next four hours this boy talked to me a lot. His name was Todd and he was very friendly, respectful and inquisitive. It became kind of hinted at toward the beginning that he might have been flirting with me. Anyways, once it was lunch time, he asked me where I was going to have lunch, I told him, then went to talk to Keelie. Keelie and I talked for a little while, and then walked over to Arbeys for lunch. Todd showed up in line behind us a minute later. He ate lunch with us where I found out a lot of stuff (if curious, call me). To make a long story short, we continued to talk after the class was over and he asked for my cell phone number so he could text me. I was feeling very confused but decided that I’d take a risk and I gave it to him. Da, da, dumm…. So, we’ll see.
But the real reason I feel so happy about this whole thing is that a guy ( I am know completely sure) flirted with me and I was wearing a regular tee-shirt and jeans, hardly any makeup and did nothing special to my hair. Who knows, I will probably not ever see him again, it might have been a God thing, reminding me of who He made me, that we ARE his children and he loves me, and all of us.

You are all beautiful, Love,

~S

Basket Weaving and Seal Translation

Hahahaha, who put seal translation down as our occupation? :P hilarious. I own at that. But unfortunately, I'm not paid for it.
And also, Tenth Avenue North isn't listed in our favorite music...we should fix that.

Bestest Friends ever.

Basically I know the best, most awesome, amazing, talented, blessed, people ever. I am surrounded by them on all sides. Two days ago was Valentines Day and I was feeling really depressed. Sunday night I was up until 3 doing homework. wait... lets back up a little and I'll tell the story.

A week and a half ago:
My parents 18th anniversary was the 13th (the day before Valentines Day) and my dad usually tries hard to make it an epic weekend for my mom. So, for the first time ever, my parents decided that I was old enough to stay in the house alone, by my self with R(my sister). They would be gone for two days. But they wanted my friends to come over so R and I wouldn't be alone. Fair enough. I was slightly elated to say the least.
Here comes my first praise to all my wonderful friends. Now most parents, when going away for a weekend, will say "No parties, don't have anyone over, you hear?" But my parents didn't do that. They said "hey, your fiends are responsible, why not have them over while we're gone?" (real quote!) .
Back to the story...
That Friday I had a Prom planning meeting(BTW, I AM planning the High School Prom 2011, its all very exciting.) and friend J is on the team, so my parents drive us there and back. J and I had an awesome time and lots of stuff was decided it was great! Lots of laughs and memories were made in those few hours :)Thanks J!
Going back to my parents praise and weekend alone: thus was devised this amazing evening of watching Justice League and everyone getting to know a new friend of mine, C(who's real name begins in a K but that's K's... so.... yeah.). R and I had soooo much fun! (She is still asking to watch Justice League even though we don't have it.) Saturday was fun too. R and I watched JL with A and K most of he day, then after they left, we took a small break got all of R's homework done then went back to watching JL while we cleaned up. haha. A root beer float and a few more J L's later R went to bed and I set off to do my homework. Well that did not go to far and I was left to do all of it on Sunday. Well at 2:30 I had study group because of a HUGE biology test that Monday. We studied for two hours and then went home. Rachel got upset because my parents decided to hold off on the special dinner we usually give them for a night(Valentines day is still a special occasion) so that I could get all of my home work done. It was 6 o'clock and I hadn't done any homework. This was a problem. That is why I was up until 3 that night....
Monday(Valentines day) was just horrible. I hadn't looked back over my Biology and Chris(Geometry teacher) got mad at us because the tests we had taken the week before was an epic fail, so he assigned a very significant amount of homework due the next meeting. I already knew I had a lot to do(usually I try to do Wednesdays homework over the weekend, but (for obvious reasons) that did not happen)and an essay was part of that work load along with lots of Government(which is a minimum of 5 hours work on a good day). So I was swamped, ridiculously tired and felt horrible. What do you do when you feel swamped and melancholy? Put it on facebook of course! haha. :) So that's what I did. K noticed my less then chipper mood and did something about it. She wrote me a poem!!! So, with her permission here it is:

My best friend’s name is Sarah
We like to call her Sabrah, because she is cherished.
There are no probras about Sabrah’s personality,
Indeed she has quite a flare.
But if you see any probras, if you dare,
Then you had better bring it up with Barak Obabra. And he’ll eat you.

My best friend’s name is Sarah. She likes to talk a lot.
She talks and talks and giggles and sings, to people and dogs and cats and things.
She talks with her voice and she talks with her hands,
Whichever one the situation demands.

My best friend’s name is Sarah.
She’s really pretty cool.
She always is there to comfort me
Even when I look like a fool.
She’s cheerful and wonderful and the most selfless person I know
And if you take one look at her you can see that it shows.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and Sarah was feeling blue.
So I wrote her this poem, to make her day feel new!
I hope that it makes her smile, and feel like running a mile.

Because my best friend’s name is Sarah
And I love her very much
And I hope she knows that by being there
My heart she always will touch.

She totally made my day and I love her soo much for doing it!
So now I'm happy and feel like I'm back a new person all thanks to my friends. :)
ALL this to say I have amazing friends and I really don't deserve them. I want to write so much more, a few more stories I want to tell about how amazing these people are, but I have to go, so I'll(hopefully) get to tell them later :)
Love you all!!!

~S :)

P.S. K, you were right, I DO write really long posts...

Two word post

two words. ;)

Bruise

I have a bruise on my knee
and this fact has filled me with glee.
I slipped and fell but I feel quite well
because this tale I now can tell.
I slipped and fell in the driveway
just at the end of the day,
I dropped my purse which made me curse...except not really.
I slipped and fell in the driveway
and now my knee hurts to touch,
yet for some reason I continue to do it anyway.
The End.

P.S.
I am considering mutany and taking over this blog unless someone else decides to say something...anything at all...really.

Valentines Day

It's me...again.
At my school the swing choir does a fundraiser for valentines day. They sell singing valentines for $10 a piece and you can buy them for people and then the choir goes to their class and sings to them. And I got one today!! :D It made me very happy. They sang "Kiss the Girl" from the Little Mermaid. So cute! That's all...

Justice League

Friday night we all spent the night at S's house with her little sister (R) and her other friend K...but we will call her C because she isn't allowed to steal my letter. Anyway, she brought her seasons of Justice League and we watched that...a lot. And it was baisically amazing. Like, a lot. :)
So yeah...that's all I have to say, I'm just waiting for some one else to say something....anything really. Anything at all.

Kbye.

Hahaha! Ok, I supose I will elaborate a little more than that. The trip was great, I really like that school but will most likely never be able to afford to go there...so yeah. Hm.
It was nice to just get outside and breath, I am counting the weeks until Mother's Day Camping (13). We did lots of fun stuff with E (A's sister) and we got to visit my sisters and my cousin which was very fun for me. We made a new children's nature show...I'm pretty excited about it.
Let's see, what else...Moose Munch chocolate bars are the best thing that was ever created...I learned how to change a flat tire, college is going to be so much more amazing than highschool, I can understand Spanish way more than politics, Seattle is amazing, people do weird thigns for "art", I like bookstores with cats in them, and yeah. That's about all the information you need probably...except that Batman is the best superhero. And I wish I had my very own Totoro.
What a stupid bucket...ha!!
Alrighty, seeeeee you later!
Oh- there has been a new edition to my family. Chuckanuka. He's pretty cool. I baisically have to hide his face because everytime I see it a burst out laughing and can't concentrate.
